- The Conservative Nationalist Party (Oceana: Konservatni Natsionalistiski Parti), often referred to by their abbreviation CNP, is a major party in Lovian politics. Formed in July 2011 by Lukas Hoffmann with support from the Kameron Family. Its leader, Lukas Hoffmann, was elected to be Governor of Sylvania in 2012 and has introduced many popular reforms and has written an entire new State Law. Favouring a libertarian approach to social policy and a classical liberal approach to economic policies the party won 15 seats in the 2013 federal elections although due to a defection to the now failed party SCP, its numbers in congress were reduced to 8, this was further reduced to 7 when KNPO was formed. | - The Conservative Nationalist Party (Oceana: Konservatni Natsionalistiski Parti), often referred to by their abbreviation CNP, is a major party in Lovian politics. Formed in July 2011 by Lukas Hoffmann with support from the Kameron Family. Its leader, Lukas Hoffmann, was elected to be Governor of Sylvania in 2012 and has introduced many popular reforms and has written an entire new State Law. Favouring a libertarian approach to social policy and a classical liberal approach to economic policies the party won 15 seats in the 2013 federal elections although due to a defection to the now failed party SCP, its numbers in congress were reduced to 8, this was further reduced to 7 when KNPO was formed. However their numbers we rebuffed after Hoffmann orchestrated for most SCP members to rejoin the party boosting their congress numbers to 16. The party has been running on a varied and full platform as detailed in it's Conservative Nationalist Party Plan 2013, in which it advocates devolving powers down to a local level, increasing overseas trade, education reform, a rethinking of the welfare system and a focus on the culture of the States. Other notable policies that have created debate in Lovia are the unpegging of the Lovian Dollar from the US Dollar to combat inflation, the implementation of an education voucher system that would make all education free and bring greater equality in education and regulation on Trade Unions to stop abuses of power. Currently they compete in all States bar Oceana where they have an allied party called the Conservative and Nationalist Party of Oceana which competes in their place. __ToC__
