Van Garg is a character that appeared in the episode "Hearts 'N 'Smurfs." Van Garg saw Hefty being cornered by Brainy's army and captured him, but Hefty had fired a love arrow into a passing storm cloud overhead, changing it into a cloud that rained love upon all who were under the cloud, including Van Garg and his cat. With his heart changed, Van Garg decided to devote his life to doing good and noble deeds instead.
