The mezzanine side at far north end has four street staircases to 167th Street, one to each corner. Alongside the mezzanine are two winding staircases to the 167th Street underpass and was permanently closed for security reasons in 1993. There is no pedestrian access to the underpass from either side on street level. The part-time fare controls are at McClellan Street.
