The Whirlinda couple resides in the Ball Room found on the first floor's east wing of the mansion. After Luigi defeats the six Shy Guy Ghosts in the room, different music starts playing and the Whirlindas appear, making the dancing floor spin as they waltz, occasionally moving on to a different spinning tile. To make them visible, Luigi has to to stand on one of the spinning tiles and face away from them. While visible, the gentleman eventually exclaims "Dance!". Both will then do a dance pose, exposing their heart and thus making them vulnerable to being vacuumed by the Poltergust 3000. Capturing the pair gives Luigi the key to the Storage Room.
