- 甲南高校3年時に、このまま日本にいてはダメだと思い、渡仏してから40年近くが経ちました。 フランスで就職した日本の商社を早期リタイアし、フランスで独立してから、少し寂しくなって、昔の日本の連中はどうなったのかなーと思いつつ、フランスからインターネットで福岡の同期生に連絡をしたら、たまたま返事をいただき、同期会に参加することができました。 こうやって、初対面の人ともすぐ仲良しになれるのも、生まれた国の文化を同じくしているからだと、海外で暮らしている身だからこそ、身体全体で感じています。 仕事に振り回されながら、会社を辞めてから、みなさん良く分かることですが、健康が第一。そして、後半の人生を、どれだけ楽しく生きられるかが、最も大事なことだと常々感じております。 還暦の獅子の会の旅行は、是非、南仏のニースに来ていただければと思います。

- Nice is a city of almost 350,000 people in southeastern France.
- Nice is the fifth most populous city in France, after Paris, Marseille, Lyon and Toulouse. The urban area of Nice extends beyond the administrative city limits with a population of about 1 million on an area of 721 km2 (278 sq mi). Located on the south east coast of France on the Mediterranean Sea, Nice is the second-largest French city on the Mediterranean coast after Marseille.
