Wikipedia contains a list of the various forms of Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease. The table lists the various forms(types) of the disease and the locus of the mutation. The locus designates the chromosome and the location on the chromosome. For example, CMT1A is at locus 17p11.2. This is chromosome 17. p11.2 gives more detail of the location of the mutation CMT1A on chromosome 17. The locus of CMT2D is 7p15. Thus, the mutation is located on chromosome 7.
