Synopsis
| - The whole issue is a slugfest between Superboy and Loose Cannon while Loophole and his latest gal try to evade them. It is laced with flashbacks that establish Superboy will be attending the local high school and that Sam Makoa is friends with Eddie Walker, Loose Cannon's alter ego. Walker tells Sam that he should make a name for himself by bringing in Loophole, maybe even using the opportunity to create a Special Crimes Unit in Hawaii.
The two heroes finally stop fighting and catch Loophole and find out that his latest toy is a gift from the Technician, a genius criminal inventor, which is a stasis field projector in which he hid a cache of stolen diamonds.
Later, Superboy goes back to the Compound where he finds that Krypto has finally come out of quarantine. Rex is still worrying about Roxy, who has gone to Las Vegas, when he gets a call from his creditor, Mr. Gambolli, who is headed for Hawaii.
