The Six Million Dollar War was a conflict which started on August 8, 2010 with Ragnarok, the Viridian Entente, R&R, the Global Order of Darkness, and TENE declaring war on the New Sith Order. At issue was the NSO providing $6 million in aid to a nation at war with a protectorate of RoK, hence the name of the war. NSO maintained that the war resulted from over-eagerness on RoK's part, while RoK held that NSO was warned in clear terms that such an action would constitute an act of war and then proceeded to take that action. The war ended when NSO surrendered on August 24, 2010.
