Fiercely loyal to Gael Squirrelking, Greenbeck helped the crew protect Queen Serena and her son Truffen and could always be counted on to use his large body as a shield. Together with Iris Streambattle, he faced the Dirgecallers as they were ready to close in on the squirrel refugees. He also was instrumental in the rescue of Mariel and her friends from Castle Floret's North tower. Courageous and strong, he was also capable of great tenderness when attempting to calm the Queen's fears. He also had very good eyesight and alertness and acted sometimes as a scout.
