The Battle of Eriadu was the final battle of the Second Imperial Civil War. It was fought between forces loyal to the Fel Dynasty and the forces of Morlish Veed's insurgency who supported the Moff Council's rule of the Empire. With the surface battle being dominated by Fel and his forces, Admiral Viktor Piard ordered the surrender of the Remnant's space forces, most of the fleet began to comply, as most of them, shocked by the news that their beloved Emperor was not dead (as Veed led them to believe) refused to fight for Veed, naming him usurper.

| - The Battle of Eriadu was the final battle of the Second Imperial Civil War. It was fought between forces loyal to the Fel Dynasty and the forces of Morlish Veed's insurgency who supported the Moff Council's rule of the Empire. Most of Veed's insurgency had defected to Fel's side after the capture of Coruscant, meaning that Fel's forces had been bolstered by the First Imperial Strikeforce, led by Moff's Fehlaaur'aitel'loro and Rulf Yage. Yage's daughter, Gunn had also defected, alongside her elite starfighter wing, Skull Squadron. During the battle Rulf Yage had been given command of the Skulls, Fehlaaur, the Nirauan 2nd Fleet. The battle on Eriadu's surface was between the Fel-loyal 501st Legion, led by Senior Commander Daine Jir and the Imperial Centre 3rd Army, which had retreated from Coruscant after it's capture and was led by the experienced commander Geist. Most of the Remnant forces on Eriadu had no idea that Emperor Soontir Fel was still alive, and when they finally found out (when he personally led his Imperial Knights into battle) more than 3/4 of the Remnant ground forces defected. With the surface battle being dominated by Fel and his forces, Admiral Viktor Piard ordered the surrender of the Remnant's space forces, most of the fleet began to comply, as most of them, shocked by the news that their beloved Emperor was not dead (as Veed led them to believe) refused to fight for Veed, naming him usurper. Veed and his loyal forces refused to surrender and took over the bridge of the Remnant flagship, the Imperial Star Destroyer Exactor they then prepared to fire the Exactor's superlasers, in order to obliterate Eriadu, with Emperor Fel and his forces, without regard for the thousands of Remnant troops and civilians still on-world, but before Veed could fire, he was shot in the back by Geist, his second-in-command, who had secretly defected to Fel, and had allowed the transmission of Emperor Fel's survival to reach his troops (against Veed's orders) Geist had been planning his defection since Veed had declared the Emperor dead, as he did not want to see Veed become Emperor and believed that the Empire (and his own ambitions) would be better served under the Fel Dynasty. After Veed's death Viktor Piard took his place as Supreme Commander and surrendered all Remnant forces to Emperor Fel, ending the Second Imperial Civil War and re-establishing Emperor Fel's unchalenged rule of the Empire.
