In 2374, after the tunnels below the city were excavated, a tablet bearing the inscription "Welcome Emissary" was found. He later contacted Sisko who visited him in the caves to view the tablet. (DS9: "The Reckoning") Koral was played by actor James Greene. His name comes from the script.
