For several days, the fighting raged from tunnel to tunnel as the outnumbered Nymean troops held off their attackers. The Nymean ground commander, Colonel Yvetro kept his troops in a defensive position using the bunkers and tunnels that made up the redoubt to counter the superior Horothrium numbers just as planned. A Nymean fleet arrived on 9/6/55, but failed to defeat the Horothrium fleet. Fighting in space on this day cost most of the casualties suffered from both sides during the battle.

| - For several days, the fighting raged from tunnel to tunnel as the outnumbered Nymean troops held off their attackers. When it was clear that the base would be overrun, Colonel Yvetro ordered an evacuation. He coordinated with the fleet above to provide cover and managed to get the surviving 15,000 troops to safety. The Horothrium took possession of the planet on 9/13/55. It would later be abandoned by them in 7/25/56.
