abstract	Batsi is the only moon of Areltsi in the Nymean Ascendancy. It is a ball of rock void of atmosphere that orbits the planet once every thirty-two standard days. There is no native life on the moon but one hundred and thirty thousand Areltsi work in large mining colonies on and below the surface. The mines produce raw metal and minerals used for the Areltsi shipyards orbiting the planet and thus spare Areltsi itself the damaging effects of mining. There is a defense base on the moon in the case of invasion. During the Galaxial War, the Galactic Alliance attacked the moon during the Battle of Areltsi. The attack merely consisted of a squadron of fighters flying over the main mining complex and firing on some of the defense turrets that opened fire on them. One Alliance fighter was destroyed and three turrets were hit causing twelve casualties. With the successful repulse of the Alliance attack on the main planet, the moon was spared further threat.
