| - The Shadow Blades are a rival start-up assassin guild to the Obsidian Flame in Cantha. Unlike the Obsidian flame however, their ethics and their means of getting things done are less noble and more questionable. In addition, they are engaged in typical gang-wars with the Am Fah, the Jade Brotherhood and the Sensali. In the quest The Shadow Blades, players discover that the Shadow Blades are aiming to destroy the Obsidian Flame. The Obsidian Flame do not take the threat lightly and in pre-emptive action, the players deal a crippling blow to the Shadow Blades by killing many of their members in the quest Lambs to the Slaughter.
