Willard Charles Dewveall (April 29, 1936 – November 20, 2006) is a former American football end. He was the first player to jump from one American professional football league to another, leaving the National Football League's Chicago Bears to play for the American Football League's Houston Oilers for the 1961 season. Dewveall in 1962 caught the (then) longest pass reception for a touchdown in professional football history, 98 yards, from Jacky Lee, against the San Diego Chargers. He was an American Football League All-Star in 1962.
