Many of the rougher and more violent inhabitants of the planet lived in this village and the Senites used Dohama as the primary culling site for the Reborning ritual. The village had very few females so Senites dressed as women to fulfill that need as well as providing all food and clothing within the village. In 2268, Dohama was the first settlement that James Kirk, Spock, and Leonard McCoy arrived at after being trapped on the planet. They slept at the inn maintained by Lincree and were provided new clothes before procuring a boat from Billiwog and travelling to Khyming. The three later returned and were captured by the Senites as part of the Reborning ritual. (TOS novel: Sanctuary)
