The list has the potential to go outdated pretty quickly, especially since some people can and will Plumbob comments on old monthly question blog posts. The plumbobs for unregistered users is also ignored. Otherwise, it would seem more reasonable to have a bot to update the table automatically. --I am k6ka Talk to me! See what I have done 13:06, November 5, 2014 (UTC) Yes, the system pretty much has flaws. One method I could think of is using the Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:Plumbob, but that only shows the users who used {{Plumbob<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>}}, not to whom they gave it too. And even then, it has to be counted manually. Maybe bot can help if you know how to set it up. Nikel Talk – Vote! 13:10, November 5, 2014 (UTC) Which I sadly don't. I have a feeling maybe Lab knows how to set one up, though. --I am k6ka Talk to me! See what I have done 14:50, November 5, 2014 (UTC) There are a few options. First, only count the plumbobs that were awarded during the particular month that the question was asked, and not the ones awarded afterwards. Or, lock commenting on MQ blog posts once the month is over, to prevent additional comments. -- LostInRiverview talk • blog • contribs 15:12, November 5, 2014 (UTC) I disagree. Locking the blog comment section is quite restrictive, even though the question is meant to be for that particular month. The purpose of this featured content is so that people would interact more after all, not about "who gains the most 'likes' on one's comment." While the latter is true, it's treated as an extra feature, not the main purpose. I think it's unfair if a "like" is nullified just because the month expires.
