| - The Heart Container is a item from The Legend of Zelda series that appears in Super Smash Flash and its sequel, Super Smash Flash 2. In both games, the Heart Container will reduce 100% of damage of the player who picks it up. It used to be the best recovering item until the introduction of the E-Tank in SSF2, which completely reduces the damage of the player to 0%.
- Heart Containers are items found in The Legend of Zelda series and can usually be obtained after the protagonist, Link defeats a boss or finds four or five pieces of heart. They've appeared in nearly every game in the series excluding Zelda II: The Adventure of Link for the NES. Once the player comes in possession of a Heart Container, his health will be raised by one heart. Heart Containers also appear in the Super Smash Bros. series, where they will reduce the damage percentage the player has by 100% in All Star Mode and completely in regular battles
- Heart Containers, also known as Container Hearts, are recurring items in the Legend of Zelda series. These heart-shaped containers are visual representations of Link's current health. The more Heart Containers Link collects, the more health he will have. The number of Heart Containers Link has reflects the maximum amount of health he can have at one time, traditionally displayed in the upper left corner of the screen. When Link's health is full, the Heart Containers are red. As Link loses health, they lose their color or disappear. In some games, Link can lose quarter hearts or half hearts.
- This is a very common way of increasing one's Life Meter, particularly in Action Games and Adventure Games without RPG Elements (or just without the elements that increase life). Games get more difficult as they go on. This is nigh-on universal. But when the Elite Mooks start dishing out epic levels of hurt, what's a poor hero to do? Well, they could Level Grind-- if they were in an RPG. But they're in a Platform Game or some other variety of Action Game! Experience points are (almost) unheard of! Status Buffs are equally uncommon! Healing Potions and Health Food are dropped maybe once a level! What now? Enter the Heart Container--a well-hidden, but oh-so-rewarding, item that permanently increases the Life Meter of the lucky adventurer who finds it. Even games that don't have well-defined
- The Heart Container (ハートのうつわ hāto no utsuwa?) is an item that appears in all four Super Smash Bros. games. This item reduces the damage of the character who picks it up. In Super Smash Bros., the Heart Container reduces a character's damage to 0%, but in Melee and Brawl, it only recovers 100%. In the original and Melee, a player cannot take any damage for the short amount of time that the heart spends replenishing health. In Brawl, any damage received will be subtracted from 100% and it will still heal the player.
