Kab-ombs are sub-species of Bob-ombs and are enemies in the Mario series who appear exclusively in New Super Mario Bros.. They only appear in the level World 8-8 where they walk normally in their regular form, but if they are hit by volcanic rocks, they will have their fuse lit and will run in straight lines quickly for a few seconds and will explode afterwards. They resemble their black cousins, Bob-omb, but they have green fringes on bottom. They have have no wind-keys and they have large indigo nose. If got hit by lethal, molten rocks erupted from the active volcano if you throw fireballs at them, they turn red from anger, and run very fast. If the player touches them while they are in red anger form, they explode, causing fiery harm to bros. They have orange legs as well.
