During its existence - arena hosted many important event. It was 4 times the venue of Ice Hockey World Championships. Every year, it is the venue of a very prestigious synchronized skating competition. There were hundreds of concerts in the arena during its operation. It was the largest and most important arena in Czech republic for almost 40 years until 2004 when the new O2 Arena opened.
