| - Kate Lang is the victim of the murder that takes place in this episode. It is originally thought that she was raped and murdered by Andre Tibbs, however, as the Homicide crew research deeper into the case, they discover, only 2 days after the execution of Andre Tibbs, that he was in fact innocent and the real murderer was Wayne Nelson, who was also guilty of the sexual abuse that his daughter, Faith had suffered. They thought that she was the victim of Andre due to the fact she had been connected to his pager late at night, after him giving her some pleasant advice earlier in the day. What she did not realise is that she was talking to Wayne Nelson, who had then travelled to her house.
