John Peter "Johnny" Matchefts (born June 18, 1931 in Eveleth, Minnesota) is a retired ice hockey player. Matchefts played for the American 1952 Winter Olympics ice hockey team. He was inducted into the United States Hockey Hall of Fame in 1991. He was the coach of the Air Force Falcons from 1975 to 1985.
