Churning is an unethical practice by stock brokers. Some stock brokers with a view of make more brokerage buys and sells unnecessarily on behalf of their clients and increase their turnover and brokerage. This is called Churning though sometimes churning may be required in the interest of the clients depending on the condition of the stock market and other factors.
