| - Force Powers. Each character should have 10 mastered force powers. You don't have to have that many but that would be the maximum amount before getting into GMing and PGing. The 10 force powers should be broken down. First tier of five, second tier of five. After that, site policy now states that you have 5 more force powers that you can claim to know either in terms of being skilled (meaning you know it pretty well but not mastered) or novice (you are learning them) or even adept (somewhere between skilled and novice). That would leave you with 15 force powers in all. Ten Mastered (in different tiers) and 5 force powers to be distributed into either one of the three categories of skilled, adept or novice - yes those are the only three categories you can officially use henceforth. Remember, be honest about what your character knows. To know every force power is ridiculous and so not fabulous. Also if you are a Jedi it would be unlikely for you to use something like Force Lightning, Force Plague, Sith Magic for instance as you are a Jedi just like being a Sith it is unlikely you would use lightside powers such as Force Light, Electric Judgment and so on. Could it be possible that your characters know a couple of the other side of powers given the fact that they may or may not have been a sith turned jedi or jedi turned sith? Sure, but the Rakata caution you on writing that into your backstory - and well. Now, onto saber techniques. In canon, there are seven saber forms. Henceforth, a character is permitted to have mastered 3 saber forms and just like with force powers of COURSE you can know less but three is the maximum. The other 4 you can say, if you want but often it is not needed, that your character knows them somewhat, knows of them, but they are not your focus they are your weaker forms. Combat styles like Trakata, Jar Kai etc etc it is permissible now, officially on this site, to know two of those techniques.
