She was required to serve Gibranna in return for a debt her clan owed to the Hutt, and was given to Gibranna at the age of twenty-three. As a dancer, Karsimis met two Twi'lek sisters, Astan'alkar and Kyl'ta, and became fast friends with the pair. She was rescued along with her friends when Gibranna was assassinated by Ryluk Shouja, who acted because he had been blackmailed into it by the Republic and the Hutt had kidnapped Lymie Chamna, his fiancée. Karsimis was able to return to the Corellian system with a large amount of credits provided by Ryluk, then return to her homeworld of Selonia, where she remained with her clan for the rest of her life.
