The Duddeston Manor Estate is one of four that made up the Nechells Green / Duddeston complex of 27 tower blocks and part of the 67 council-owned tower blocks in Aston. While the estate and Cromwell Street Estate were mostly refurbished in the late 1990s, the other 2 estates (Kellett Road Estate & Rupert Street Estate) were flattened to make way for new low-rise housing. The only tower block to be demolished on the Duddeston Manor Estate was Churchfield House.
