  • Welcome new players of WoW! I assume you're hear for tips about WoW and how you can stop getting called things like scrub, noob, and being told L2p. Well you came to the correct spot for that! As starting world of warcraft one month after it came out and playing up to this very date (Feb 17, 2014) I can teach you some tricks behind the game. Let's break this down into simple sections, if you want to ready certain ones go ahead and skip to those! *Bold represents the section, and Italic is the things in the Section!* Ah I see you have came to the leveling section, well lets get started. Starting off in the world of Azeroth can be little time confusing, so lets go into the basics of leveling and how you can begin. First, In leveling there are always quests from the time you start 'from the time you hit end game! You start off level 1 and get a little cut scene explaining the race you picked you can skip this by pressing "ESC" or you can go ahead and watch it if you're into the whole store thing. Once you load out of the cut scene there will be your character also known as a toon you will also see NPC's that have little "!" above their heads if you right click them they'll give you one basic task to comeplete and once you finish return to them when they have a golden "?" above them for EXP and a bit extra' rewards. Exp is what levels you up and the amount it takes before you gain a level increases each time you do gain a level it starts off low with just a few thousand but by the time you hit 89 in MoP it shoots up to a whopping 18 million XP, though the quests and mobs do reward enough exp for a level 1 to hit level 7 for just a mob, it barely effects the amount of EXP you have. At level 10 you'll get the chance to take part in something known as a BG or battle ground which is wide PvP between the factions you can gain xp and honor which you can later buy gear with in the 20's. As well at level 15 you'll get the option to dungeon. This is a whole entire Cave, castle, moutain, under water building, and anything else you could possibly imagine filled with monsters, bosses, and 5 of your friends or people you may have just met! We'll get into dungeons a bit later in the article. Deciding if you like PvP or Pve Gearing, gearing is the hardest part of WOW from the stats on your gear, to the armor of your gear, to your iLvL, and of course to your gemming. Now I know all this seems confusing and if you're new to the game it might make you just want to giveup and I can't blame you everyone has been there. For gear you will have to read up your class which stats it needs from agility stamina parry hit all depends on which class and spec you're rolling with. You can just google that, gemming is a bit of the same just find out what gems you need for your class and spec and go ahead and slap it on. All this will increase your iLVL which means how well you're geared. You can have a high iLVL but still have squishy gear because you're wearing the wrong stats so make sure your stats are correct or else you might have a harder time then the others in the game. Finally once you're all geared. You can brag, help others, or make a new toon it's all up to you.
