The 1969–70 Division 2 season was the second tier of ice hockey in Sweden for 1968–69. The league consisted of 89 teams, divided into eight geographical groups of 10-12 teams apiece. The eight group winners continued to a promotion qualifier, which resulted in Heffner/Ortviken, Skellefteå AIK, Färjestads BK, and Fagersta AIK being promoted to Division 1 for the 1970–71 season.
