Lunar bases are structures similar to Terraformers constructed on a moon that generate three lunar fields per level, allowing for the building of structures, such as Jump Gates and Sensor Phalanxes. Unlike terraformers, they must be constructed in order to build more structures. It is important to note that upgrading your lunar base requires an open field. Once built, the lunar base can never be deconstructed.

- File:Lb.gif Short Description Since the moon has no atmosphere, a lunar base is required to generate habitable space. Long Description Since a moon has no atmosphere and is an extremely hostile environment, a lunar base must first be built before the moon can be developed. The Lunar Base provides oxygen, heating, and gravity to create a living environment for the colonists. With each level constructed, a larger living and development area is provided within the biosphere. With each level of the Lunar Base constructed, five fields are developed for other buildings.
- The control room is the station's central hub. It controls all actions and mechanics and has supervision over all areas. Adel's seal has two locks: one in the control room, and one on the tomb itself. Docking Bay: The docking bay is used to dock pods launched from Esthar and to leave the Lunar Base back to the planet or out to Adel. One must wear a spacesuit, as the bay opens to space. Prep Room: The prep room is a small antechamber used to suit up into a spacesuit to leave the base. Ellone's Suite:

Albeit small, it is comfortable. It is the only living quarters shown, although there are most likely others.
* Draw points: Meteor (hidden, never refills) Boarding Room: A smaller docking area; the boarding room is where boardees from the single-man pods fired from the Lunar Gate emerge after their pods have docked. Med Lab: The med lab is an on-board medical facility where Rinoa is kept until she awakens. Escape Pods: The escape pods are small chambers used in times of emergency. They can fit up to four people, and are jettisoned from the Lunar Base back toward the planet. They pass through the atmosphere mostly undamaged. The screen before the escape pods has a hidden draw point.
* Draw points: Meltdown (hidden)
