Her husband was Leo Preston who was killed in 2000 when they were in New York and they encountered a Licker, which killed him, she retreated away from her location and escaped with Lacy in a Humvee. She started working for New Amazons in her teens and early 20's as a submachine gunner and that earned her the nickname, "MP40" because of her accuracy with the weapon of the same name.
