David Lindon Lammy (born 19 July 1972) is a barrister and Labour Party politician. Born in Tottenham, he was called to the bar at Lincoln's Inn in 1994. He was elected to the London Assembly in May 2000 as a "London-wide" member under the "top-up" party list system. In June 2000 he was elected as member of parliament for Tottenham at a by-election. He stood down from the assembly in July 2000.
