Conscio was a dark side world in the Outer Rim Territories. Sometime during or after the First Jedi Schism, a conflict within the Jedi Order a few centuries after the foundation of the Galactic Republic, the teachings of the Legions of Lettow and its leader Xendor, the first Dark Jedi and the catalyst behind the First Jedi Schism, were placed in an enclave on Conscio. By all accounts, the planet and the teachings of Xendor were forgotten in the thousands of years that followed.

By all accounts, the planet and the teachings of Xendor were forgotten in the thousands of years that followed. In 12,999 BBY, the Ospion Guardians, a group of rogue Jedi who left the Jedi Order following a schism in the Order's ranks, fled to the Outer Rim to avoid persecution from the Jedi and settled on Conscio. The dark side on the planet influenced the Ospion, as did the teachings of Xendor. Following a schism amongst the Ospion, between those who wished to follow the dark side and those who did not, the Ospion renamed themselves the Dark Jedi of the Bogan and spent ten years on Conscio training before leaving the Outer Rim.
