The Supreme Constitutional Court has it headquarters in Haldor in the Victory of Democracy Pałac (Dundorfian: Sieg der Demokratie Palast) The main task of the court is judical review, and it may declare legislation unconstitutional, thus rendering them ineffective. The Supreme Constitutional Court (SCC) consists of 15 Constitutional Justices. Member of the SCC must be at least 45 years old to become SC Justice and can be re-appointed once. Term of the Senate of the SCC lasts 8 years. Every 8 years political parties with parliamentary representation introduce Constitutional Justices to the SCC based on the proportional mechanism connected with the state election results. The Security Mechanism is established to prevent politicization of the court: The mechanism allows a single party to introduce maximum number of 7 justices. The minimum number of justices a single party can introduce is 1. A party cannot transfer its authority to nominate Constitutional Justice to another party. Electoral coallition are the subject to the same regulations. Parliament elects Chief Constitutional Justice to coordinate the work and sessions of the SCC. (Usually largest party's apointee serves as the Chief Constitutional Justice for the term of 4 years) Parliament cannot call of any of the Justices or terminate the term of the SCC unless a majority of 2/3 is gathered and a justified cause presented. Supreme Constitutional Court verifies the compatiblity of created law with the constitution and human rights. SCC can adjudicate the law as unconstitutional, inhumane or contrary to the intersts of the Dorvish Citizens. SCC can adjudge the bill after its implementation into the national law system. If the SCC adjudges that the created law contradicts with constitution or human right, the Parliament has to repeal the law and reinstate the status quo.
