abstract	Billy Bird is a member of the Birds-of-a-Feather club in the Big Bird StoryMagic book The Colors of Spring. Along with his fellow club members Little Bird, Buddy Bird, Maxwell Bird, Becca Bird and Holly Bird, Billy is attempting to earn his "Know-Your-Colors" badge. Billy begins by painting a bee for yellow and a frog for green. Unfortunatly when invited to lunch with the Orange and Purple familes, the picnic table gets knocked over, spilling a grape jam sandwich all over Billy's head. But while heading home after the picnic lunch, a brief rain storm blows over, washing the bird clean and allowing him to paint a picture of a rainbow. Billy Bird was a character from the Pinky and Perky Show.
