Alan Rackley (Alan Porter Rackley) was born in Little Rock, Arkansas. He began singing and performing at a very early age. He made his stage debut at the age of 12 in Puccini's "Gianni Schicchi" with the Arkansas Opera Theatre (now the Opera Theatre at Wildewood) and later that same season starred as Amahl in "Amahl and the Night Visitors". He decided to change the course of his career and, after acting studies at Stella Adler Academy, began working in musical theatre, appearing in many productions and receiving excellent reviews.
