Magikoopas are recurring enemies in the Super Mario (series), they use magic to attack and often ride broomsticks, however, they don't always ride them. They are usually seen to be allied with Bowser and Wario. Magikoopas appear to be important members of Bowser's army and Kamek is his personal adviser who seems to have raised him while Kammy Koopa did the same for his cousin Koopa Kid.

  • Magikoopas are a type of Koopa Troopa with magical abilities. They are most naturally seen wearing a blue cloak, glasses, and a hat (which is also blue). However, Kammy the Magikoopa wears purple and looks like a witch. Magikoopas are Bowser's highest-ranked Koopas Troopas. This is shown in the intro sequence of Super Paper Mario - Bowser has Magikoopas at the front of the crowd, while Goombas and Koopa Troopas are further back. There are several different colorations of Magikoopa, each having their own special abilities. Mario fights one after gaining the action command ability in Paper Mario. If alone, they make copies of themselves, much like Wizzerds.
  • Magikoopas are koopa wizards part of Bowser's army.
  • Magikoopas are Koopas that have learned about magic and sorcery. They use spells to attack and can buff themselves or others.
  • Magikoopas (カメック, Kamekku) are creatures who wear a blue hat, robes, and spectacles and use a magic rod to cast spells. At first glance they don't appear to be a Koopa, but at closer inspection one notices the structure of the mouth and concludes they are indeed koopas. They first appeared in the famous SNES Mario game Super Mario World. A member of the species, Kamek, babysat Bowser when Bowser was a baby (in the Yoshi's Island Series).

  • Magikoopas (referred to as Kameks in Japan and more recent PAL localisations, also referred to as Koopa Wizards in the Super Mario World television series) are bespectacled Koopas that can cast spells. Magikoopas made their debut in Super Mario World. They wear blue robes and hats resembling the garb of a wizard. They are generally considered to be high ranking members of the Koopa Troop, and some act as personal advisors for Bowser.
  • K.Rool came into Make Your Move with many of the moveset-making attitudes of the pre-SSBB days. In fact, this first moveset used many older ideas, from a Kamek moveset he had made about a year earlier. It was completed very quickly, as its rather small detail would imply, over a span of two or three days. K.Rool opted for this character for a first moveset because he already had something to build on; a rough blueprint. He also quickly thought up a central mechanic that would help to summarize the character as he appears in the Paper Mario series.
  • Magikoopa, also known as Eggface, despite knowing a few magic tricks, is the dumbest of all koopas. This is due to nintendo being too lazy to develop a decent AI. They are also incredibly annoying because they think they know every magic trick in the book but always pull the "growing trick" on you. Most people think Bowser was incredibly high when he hired these dorks but the truth is, he didn't. The only person who likes them is the "I like turtles" Guy.
  • Magikoopas are a subspecies of Koopa Troopas that can cast spells. They wear blue robes and hats resembling the garb of a wizard, and wield golden wands. They are generally considered to be high-ranking members of the Koopa Troop, and some act as personal advisers for King Bowser Koopa. Kamek, the leader of the Magikoopas, appeared in several installments of the Yoshi series. He was usually the main villain or assistant to the main villain. Kamek was the only Magikoopa that appeared in the Yoshi games.
  • Their appearance clearly shows that they are indeed wizard like with the correct apparel you'd assume one to wear. They are usually wearing blue cloaks with white trim and a pointed hat to match, and they carry a golden, scepter-like wand with a red gemstone embedded into the top end. They also have large round glasses that have black frames and are unable to see through from the outside. Some Magikoopas can be found ridng broomsticks, as is the case with Kamek and Kammy, two Magikoopas that play special plot roles in certain games. Unlike regular varieties of the Koopa Troopa, most variety of Magikoopa can be defeated with a single jump - or in some RPG cases, a few attacks - and don't retract into their shells. Some variety of Magikoopa have the ability to teleport short distances. These
