The Battle of Scar'liki was a conflict between the Covenant Loyalists and the Covenant Separatists in between May and June 2554 on the planet Scar'liki. It was the first major conflict of the Great Schism since the Battle of Installation 00 over a year before. Loyalist forces combatted the Separatists ships stationed at Scar'liki, shortly followed by deploying troops to the surface. Through numerous stealth operations and swift brutal attacks, the Loyalists managed to slowly take the planet from the Separatists. Despite initial resistance, the natives of Scar'liki eventually sided with the Loyalists, causing the Separatists to enter a full retreat.
