Before stairs were invented, before ladders were invented, before express elevators were invented, and before two-story buildings were invented, people stuck to the ground and the world we lived in was more or less flat, more or less two-dimensional. But somewhere along the line, someone with too much money and time, well, they just said, “Hey, I’m gonna build another house on top of my house.” And humanity said, “That’s an interesting concept. I think we should go with it.” And I said… P.S. Never mind everything I just said.

  • Before stairs were invented, before ladders were invented, before express elevators were invented, and before two-story buildings were invented, people stuck to the ground and the world we lived in was more or less flat, more or less two-dimensional. But somewhere along the line, someone with too much money and time, well, they just said, “Hey, I’m gonna build another house on top of my house.” And humanity said, “That’s an interesting concept. I think we should go with it.” And I said… See you in the next dimension. It’s beyond our comprehension. Life is lovely, not to mention Extra lively. Pyramid says, “In God we trust,” Maybe that’s a lie So he can get away from us. Humanity just gave me a funny look. Humanity tried to turn away from me, but apparently I’m a part of it. So here I am, all grown up and perfectly used to the thought of tall, tall buildings, which stack people vertically. I’ve even been in airplanes which allow you to enjoy the one thousandeth floor without needing any lesser floors to hold it up. Pretty soon we’ll live in outer space and there won’t even be an up or down anymore. I think once we’re there, we’ll invent something even better than up or down. Referring to what I said before… See you in the next dimension. It’s beyond our comprehension. Life is lovely, not to mention Extra lively. Pyramid says “In God we trust,” Maybe that’s a lie So he can get away from us. Bearing in mind that the numbers we find To label dimensions, are vertically lined, And if we find time to leave numbers behind, We’ll get close encounters of the god-knows-what kind. See you in the next dimension. It’s beyond our comprehension. Life is lovely, not to mention Extra lively. Pyramid says “In God we trust,” Maybe that’s a lie So he can get away from us. P.S. Never mind everything I just said.
