(TLE - Terok Nor novel: Night of the Wolves) By 2353 he was serving as head of security on Terok Nor before Odo, but had left the space station by 2365, saying he had grown weary of Skrain Dukat. (DS9 short story: "Foundlings") Also during that time he had a romantic relationship with Astraea. (TLE - Terok Nor novel: Dawn of the Eagles) In 2373, Odo experienced a telepathic version of the Great Link, in which he experienced an altered version of a past incident on Terok Nor, in which Thrax was still security chief at a point after Odo had replaced him. (DS9 episode: "Things Past") During the Dominion War, Thrax was a member of an "underground railroad" which helped Cardassians escape the Dominion. In 2375, he came to Deep Space 9 to get Odo's help in investigating the disappearance of a ship carrying Cardassians. (DS9 short story: "Foundlings")
