The Ruby-eyed Green Pit Viper, (Cryptelytrops rubeus), is a species of snake from South East Asia. The snake was discovered recently in surrounding area of Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City, across the low hills of southern Vietnam, in the Langbian Plateau area and in eastern Cambodia by researchers at Bangor University.
