| - The Crown Navy of Brazoria is the principle naval warfare force of Brazoria. The Brazorian Navy first existed during the Brazos Revolt of 1836, and after the national reorganisation in 1848, the Crown Navy was formally established as the maritime branch of the Crown Armed Forces. Although younger than the Crown Army, it is the most prestigious and battle-tested of all branches of the military, and for this the Crown Navy is sometimes referred to as the Grand Service. Originally known as the Brazos Navy during its early days, the first vessels of the Crown Navy were originally four schooners from the United States. The original Navy played an instrumental role in the success of the Brazos Army, and it was expanded post-independence under the chancellery of Mirabeau Lamar. The naval force would remain a relatively minor focus of the national government until the Progressive government of James Hogg, when Brazorian imperialism reached its height. The Crown Navy was a key part of the Brazorian Caribbean Wars, cementing power Brazorian power in the sea. The Crown Navy would remain the foremost object of Brazorian power projection thereafter, as its grand size was maintained well into the present day as one of the world's foremost blue-water navies. The Crown Navy maintains a fleet of technologically sophisticated, fire-power focused ships and submarines, including 36 frigates, 24 destroyers, 18 cruisers, 22 fleet submarines, 8 ballistic missile submarines, 2 aircraft carriers, 2 amphibious transport docks, and 2 amphibious assault ships. At 114 total ships, it is one of the largest marine forces in the world, and widely considered to be one of the world's most capable power projection forces. The Crown Navy is also supplemented by the Crown Marines, the national amphibious light warfare force, and the Crown Naval Air Service, the part of the force responsible for naval aircraft. Both supplementary services are under the command of the High Admiral of Brazoria, the head of the Crown Navy and the official leader of the branch with a position on the Crown Armed Forces Council. The High Admiral is responsible to the Council, which in turn is headed by the Chancellor and the Minister of Defence.
