HistoryText
  • The eponymous protagonist of the Hurricane comic strip The Juggernaut from Planet Z was a giant robot. It was deliberately launched at Earth by unknown persons on a moving planetary body as said planet was passing through our solar system for undisclosed reasons. The Juggernaut landed in Cumberland and was immediately attacked by the military, provoking a devastating response, but one Dr. Dan Morgan managed to calm it down. The Juggernaut proved to be friendly and, although it subsequently returned home, Morgan was henceforth able to summon it from Planet Z when it was needed to aid Earth, apparently with the blessing of its mysterious masters.
