The Armada of the Dead, sometimes known simply as The Armada, was a small settlement of Sky Pirates in the Mire during the Rook trilogy. Threatened by Stone-Sickness, the Sky Pirates landed their ships in one location and converted it into a group of buildings. The leader of this group was Deadbolt Vulpoon. These Sky Pirates raided the Great Mire Road from time to time, snatching goods from the Shrykes for subsistence.
