  • The National Intelligence Service (NIS) (Kyo: 국가정보원, Gugkajeongboweon) is the foreign intelligence agency of Dankuk. It is a member of the Dankuk intelligence community alongside the Public Security Bureau, the Office of Dovanian Peace & Security, and the military intelligence branches within the Dankuk People's Army. The National Intelligence Service is responsible for intelligence and counter-intelligence outside of Dankuk. The NIS works cooperatively with other intelligence agencies to build a reliable intelligence network and to share relevant information when targets cross between agency jurisdictions.
