The Shroud of Rahmon was created by a mad priest in order to bind the demon Rahmon. It was dyed with the blood of seven virgin women sacrificed on the first full moon. It was then laid upon Rahmon's body which was sealed in a case made of concecrated wood, trimmed with gold and lined with lead, in order to prevent his resurrection. The shroud absorbed Rahmon's power and if removed from the case, would infect those in close vicinity with his power. This is known to have occurred twice in history, once in 1803 in the Mexican city of El Encanto, causing it's entire population to go insane. The second time the shroud was released from its case was in 2001, when it was subsequently destroyed by Angel.
