David Gove (born May 4, 1978 in Centerville, Massachusetts) is an American ice hockey player who last played in 2009. Gove has played two NHL games with the Carolina Hurricanes. He played with Western Michigan University from 1997-2001, leading the league CCHA in points in his final year. The Hurricanes signed him as an undrafted free agent but he spent most of his time in the minors. The Pittsburgh Penguins accquired him in 2008 for Joe Jensen.
