  • He is run over by an oblivious Peter Griffin who was traveling with Wile E. Coyote in "I Never Met the Dead Man". When Lois demands sex from someone when Peter is unable to perform in "Peter Problems", Peter cautions her that Quagmire will show up just like the Road Runner. Quagmire proceeds to do just that, including carrying a sign stating "Giggity Giggity." Peter reassures Lois that she has nothing to really fear, as her vagina is really just a painted on hole.

  • He appeared in the Slappy Squirrel cartoon "Little Old Slappy from Pasadena" in which gets another taste of humiliation when he is outrun by Slappy's car, and after Wiley gets hit by Slappy he holds up a sign saying "I quit"—immediately afterward, Buttons, who was launched into the air during a previous gag, lands squarely on top of him. There are some differences, however, as the greater roadrunner does not make any sounds that sound anything close to "Beep, Beep." Road Runner is based on the janitor of the studioes the was heard on day making the Road Runner noise (beep beep). the janitor said that the noise Road Runner noise was spelt hmeep, hmeep and not Beep,Beep, which is how it's spelled in print merchandise and cartoon titles featuring the phrase.
