While influential to their name and mentioned in public proclamations, it is uncertain whether Ulrich von Hutten is in fact in any way related to the ideology of the party, which seems to have consisted of anti-communism and Protestant protectivism. The Pornols had earlier been members of The Party. Indeed, they had been critical in the apprehension of Twizzed's ruler Pomme de Terre when he refused to join the alliance, and Khan Clementinus had received great praise for his decisive action along the alliance's orders, unlike most of the other armed forces, such as the Alpha Squadron, who decadently avoided a direct assault on Twizzed. However, when the alliance fragmented (Shio Iznagi's ruler Patrick Angel left very early), the Pornols suddenly formed the Ulrekite Party as a power base of their own.
