The Greek River God Krimisos was a the god of his like named river. The river is part of western Sikelia (Sicily). The myth he is known best for is his seduction of the daughter of a Trojan settler. Krimisos like so many other gods did this by taking the form of an animal. In this case it was the guise of a dog.
