Sonika Nirwal (born 1977) was a senior Ealing Southall constituency Labour politician representing the Greenford Broadway ward. In 2006 she was elected as the leader of the Ealing Labour group, the first Asian women to have done so in British politics. More information on the Wikipedia page [1].
